Reminder that the tent camping trip to Martin Dies State Park is this weekend. You must register with the YMCA by Thursday.

October 14-16: Shelter Camping at Martin Dies State Park, $15 per individual
Bring your Halloween costumes and join us for a campout in the East Texas Piney
Woods. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, trick or treating and ghost stories!

October 21-23: Cabin Camping at Camp Flaming Arrow, $80 per individual
Friday the 21st is an early release day in Conroe ISD – what better opportunity to drive
out to San Antonio to see one of the Y’s premiere over-night camps, Camp Flaming Arrow! Enjoy
horseback riding, river slide, bb-gun shooting, boating and more! Meals and lodging
included, but bring a sleeping bag!

October 29: Halloween Spookhouse at Creekside Y, one canned good for the Food
Bank Last year over a thousand people came through our scary haunted tipi! Don’t miss this
spooky opportunity to decorate a Creekside tipi and frighten your neighbors!

Also--this will introduce you to Chris Madero--he is our new YMCA staff leader for the Adventure Guides replacing Nathan.
