I heard great news about Halloween at the Y and particularly great news about the Spook House Adventure Guides put together. I was amazed when I heard how many people came through! Congratulations on a job well done!

 

Let's keep the excitement going on our next event, Kayaking on Lake Conroe. We have 30 spots available for anyone who can come. I would really appreciate it if EVERYONE could! My contact with the North Lake Conroe Paddling Company, Larry, has yet to give me a time to arrive and depart but it will most likely be in the afternoon. According to him, we are able to kayak for approximately 4 hours. I will email times to arrive and depart to everyone tomorrow when I follow up with Larry.

 

*****UPDATE**** The Brazos Bend State Park Tent Camping event has been moved to Village Creek State Park in Lumberton, Texas due to reservation complications. The dates are still Nov.11 @ 6pm - Nov.13 @ 10am. We will be on tent campsites with electricity and water available. I will send the rest of the information later this week with an updated flyer to hang onto or to post on your fridge.

What was the “reservation complication”?  Was it that nobody tried to make a reservation until yesterday?
