Good Afternoon Circle Leaders!

 

Last weekend was a blast at Camp Flaming Arrow! The drive was long to the camp but I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did. It was a weekend for the books!

 

I wanted to get in touch with you guys about our next event this Saturday the 29th: Halloween Spook House. First, I want to see if you guys can get me a head count on who will be attending the event as well as recruit and promote it. We will be in the YELLOW Tree House Pod this year so we will want to plan for that. Secondly, will you need anything on my/the YMCA's part? If you have everything you need, great! If not, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Thirdly, the set-up starting time is 1pm. You do not have to show up at 1pm if you don't need to but that's the earliest people can show up. Set-up must be done by 4:30pm however, so we need to plan for that. Last thing, it will be run the same as last year so no surprises there! The event will be from 5pm to 7pm with a family-friendly movie afterwards for whoever wishes to attend.

 

Our next 2 upcoming events are fast approaching. On November 5th we have Kayaking @ Lake Conroe and on November 11th-13th we have Tent Camping @ Brazos Bend State Park in Needville, TX.

 

I'll let everyone know via email about the upcoming events but if you guys could inform everyone as well that would be great! I will email everyone with information on the kayaking event as well as the tent camping within the next few days.
