This, of course, is the Founder of the Marian Movement of Priests of which Fr. Albert Joseph Mary Shammon and other remarkably contemplative, effective, Catholic priests I've known (like our dear Fr. Thomas Celso) are members. Why not give this a read and learn where the inspiration of these true apostles of our day came from?

29th June – Death of Fr Stefano GOBBI

TO: Rev Fr James MIARA
Membership No: 7389

Dear
Rev Fr James,

Fr Stefano Gobbi, the founder of the Marian Movement of Priests, died on the Feast of Sts Peter & Paul at 3pm in the afternoon, the Hour of Mercy.

A very touching tribute to Fr. Gobbi from Father Joseph Iannuzzi, an Official Exorcist -   June 29th, 2011

I, Rev. Joseph Leo Iannuzzi, affirm that Fr. Steffano Gobbi is and was a true locutionist and a messenger from Mary, who shared with us a timely instrument from the Mother of God who is calling me and you to prayer and fasting from the heart.

Time is short...The great chastisement awaits the planet that will be knocked off of its axis and send us into a moment of global darkness and the awakening of consciences..Fr. Gobbi's messages presently bear the Church's official seal of approval, the "imprimatur"  Thus he is ecclesiastically recognized.

So, prepare yourselves with the weapons of the Brown Scapular, the Miraculous medal, the Benedictine medal, the prayers of the Most Holy Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the frequent reception of the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.

As God loves you, I love you, and love one another. Forgive one another form the heart. Nothing else really matters in this life.

In Domino.

Rev. Joseph Iannuzzi

Fr. Gobbi dies

WELL-KNOWN PRIEST-LOCUTIONIST DIES

An Italian locutionist, Father Stefano Gobbi, 81, of Milan, reportedly died at three p.m. today after spending several days in "very critical condition" in a coma that was induced after he suffered a heart attack on June 19.

According to Tammy Ouellette, national secretary for the U.S. Marian Movement of Priests in Maine (which was founded on Father Gobbi's reputed locutions), the priest's heart has been "very damaged." He underwent a bypass operation in 1998 but doctors have been unable to operate further. The death has been officially confirmed. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Father Gobbi rose to renown in Marian circles during the late 1980s as he released messages said to come from the Blessed Mother that addressed the world and the Church, including prophetic messages. His last public one was on December 31, 1997.

Meanwhile, the Marian Movement in the U.S. is under a new director, Father Francis Geremia, following the retirement more than a year ago of longtime director Father Albert G. Roux.

Emails on Fr. Gobbi having a heart attack and in induced coma

Marti Mc <potentia...@yahoo.com>

Talked to Tammy the Secretary at the headquarters in Maine. I've been doing PR for Fr. Gobbi for his U.S. tour.  I've been sending priests to his retreats and for now his North and South American Cenacles are canceled.  He had the heart attack on Fathers day. The news is just getting out.

My child, make the resolution never to rely on people. Entrust yourself completely to My will saying, "Not as I want, but according to Your will, O God, let it be done unto me." These words, spoken from the depths of one’s heart, can raise a soul to the summit of sanctity in a short time. In such a soul I delight. Such a soul gives Me glory. Such a soul fills heaven with the fragrance of her virtue. But understand that the strength by which you bear sufferings comes from frequent Communions. So approach this fountain of mercy often, to draw with the vessel of trust whatever you need. —n. 1487-The Diary of St. Faustina

Dear Carol,

I just called the National Headquarters of the Marian Movement of
Priests and they said that his heart did stop for a while, he was
suffering a lot and the doctors put him into an induced coma to
relieve the pain. So, yes, unfortunately his life is, in the words of
the National Headquarters, "hanging in the balance." They are asking
all to pray for him. I am copying Joyce on this. Joyce, if you so see
fit, you can forward this around. If so, I have no more details
unfortunately. God bless.

In the Immaculate Heart,

Bruce

Tammy of the Marian Movement of Priests at the National Headquarters in St. Francis, Maine, called to tell me that Father Gobbi had suffered a heart attack on June 19, The Feast of the Most Holy Trinity and Father's Day.  He is in Intensive Care (ICU) in Collevalenza, Italy and is not doing well.  She has asked for prayers for him from our Cenacle, "Hearts, Hands and Voices."

All U.S.A. Tours of Father Gobbi have been cancelled as of this moment.

Father Becker and the Clergy of the Marian Movement of Priests are in Italy as they were to be on Retreat with him this week.  Let us begin now to offer prayers for Father Gobbi and those that are there.  Thank you and God bless you.  In JMJ/MTA +++ josephine

Fr. Gobbi retreat for priests

Dear all,

I was speaking today with the secretary of the National Headquarters
of the Marian Movement of Priests (the movement revealed and entrusted
to the Italian priest, Fr. Gobbi, who received locutions [interior
messages] from Our Lady, and a friend of Blessed JP2 who would offer
Mass with the latter in his private chapel every so often). She said
Fr. Gobbi is coming to the U.S. again this year. I saw/heard him when
he was here last in 1994. It was awesome!

The secretary asked me to spread the word: Fr. Gobbi will lead a four
- five day retreat in Illinois from October 10-14. If you know of any
priest who might be interested in attending, contact the National
Headquarters of the Marian Movement of Priests at m...@mmp-usa.net or
1-207-398-3375 for details. The only other thing I know about it is
that if any priest cannot pay for it, it is free.

For the rest of us, hopefully he will be coming to an area near you.
His itinerary is not yet released, so keep checking the MMP's Web site
for it: http://www.mmp-usa.net/main.html

So there you go. I am extremely busy, so please do not reply to this
email. Thanks and God bless!

In the Immaculate Heart,
Bruce
