Breaking the ice

Hey everyone ... I have been spending some time looking at some other open source projects to see how they organize themselves. To be 100% honest, I have never been a part of a group of developers trying to maintain a big project together. Regardless, I am excited to get things going here because I do believe there is a desire for us to do something.

With that said, this weekend I am going to put together a few thoughts about how I think we can proceed and send them around for feedback. I also want to put a link to the mailing list (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/sanic-dev) in Issue #1245 on GitHub (https://github.com/channelcat/sanic/issues/1245) case anyone else would like to join the discussion.

I agree on spreading the word. Issue #1245 is the third autocomplete option that shows up in my browser when I start typing "github.com" and everything else is just getting pilled up, including these e-mails (for now).

Let's hope we can get some traction soon.

Haha yhea I have never been involved with any major open project either but I'm super eager to get involved :)
