Hey guys I was wondering if beyond the RCIO this week we wanted to
meet as a group to discuss HW questions?

Or possibly have questions regarding the homework posted on this
thread so that we can all sort through it together?

I will be on campus working on 423 Saturday from 2-5, Sunday 1-5, and
Monday 5-7.

Best,
Rebecca

Sure I think it would be great to meet and work on it. I'll have some/
most of it done by the time we meet Sunday but it would be great to
check over it and I'm sure I'll have questions.

Hey guys I just wanted to clarify for 1 B- When it asks us to assign
numerical values to A and y is that a subjective number based on our
perceived risks or should this number be consistent across everyone
and be determined from the information on the i-shares page?

Thanks!
Rebecca

What did y'all use to find numerical values for expected returns,
skewness, and standard deviation for number 1. ishares.com hasn't
been working today and i cant seem to find these numbers anywhere
else. Are we suppose to utilize some sort of statistical analysis
to glean the values from data, or is there a website that just tells
us

Thanks
Trent

I used Yahoo Finance to get the historical data. I dropped that data
into a spreadsheet and got the expected returns, variance, skewness...
etc from there. Hope that helps.
