Dear Sir,
Till this date we have the experience of migrating only 2 offices on a Saturday / Sunday. Actually, the window period for the earlier migrations was assessed to be around 23 hours. Hence, a detailed discussion was held with Shri Vasu team and the following action points are decided for successful handling of 10 offices at a time.
a) For the identified sites of migration, discrepancy free data will be uploaded to ftp site of Infosys at the close of Friday itself including manual data.
b) Infosys Migration Team will finalise the process of CIF & Account creation starting from Friday evening itself for all the identified offices
c) DOP will upload the final data at the close of EOD of Saturday including manual data through FTP
d) Infosys Team will do the complete migration of all identified offices to complete the load process before 7 A M on Monday
e) All relevant reports will have to be shared by then
f) Reconciliation reports will be generated and compared with Sanchaypost Data by 7 A M on Monday
g) Solution Outlets will be created by then and User Creation will be completed by 7 A M on Monday
In this proposal, as account creation and CIF creation are completed based on the data shared with Infosys on Friday (EOD), no new account should be allowed to be opened on Saturday. If this only aspect is considered and circulated to all post offices concerned, then migration of 10 bigger offices in a window period of Friday evening to Monday Morning is possible. If number of accounts are less, then 20 offices could also be possible for the Infosys Team.
Necessary instructions to circles may kindly be served, as this objective is proposed to be tested for the migration of identified offices from 19th January 2014 onwards.
Sincerely,
(V.M.Sakthivelu)
