This is regarding seeding of Aadhaar no. in the accounts of wages seekers/beneficiaries of different soical security schemes for rolling out Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through Post Offices.

 

DBT is one of the most important flagship schemes of the Government of India, and the matter need to be prioritized, considering its positive socio-economic impact.

 

Since it is seen from the weekly report that seeding of aadhaar no. was not satisfactory. Division were requested to take immediate action to expedite seeding of Aadhaar Number as well as, also requested to develop a Divisional Level Action Plan for collecting and seeding of Aadhaar number. It is also requested to submit action plan report to this office please
