Kindly refer to the Directorate circular sent to all pilot circular with guidelines for the manual data capture. Instruct all pilot offices to go through the circular and be prepared with the segregated manual data as mentioned.
Addressed to the post offices:
Report correct no. of undischarged manual accounts at CBS website – Digitization Report (NEW). Getting correct no. of manual accounts is VERY IMPORTANT from rollout planning. Going forward, rollout schedule is going to be very aggressive and any wrong/ incorrect information can result in that particular post office dropping out from rollout. In that case responsibility will solely be of that post office.
At the start of Data Capture, when vendor visits the post office, vendor will take sign-off on the CBS website Digitization report and ONLY the no. of accounts mentioned on the report will be captured. If post office discovers any new manual accounts after that, it will be the RESPONSIBILITY OF THAT POST OFFICE to capture those accounts.
Also attaching the digitization template for the reference. Each post office should provide the correct no. of accounts on the template and provide sign-off on the same and send it across to the circle office and to me.
Even previously this exercise was carried out. But during pre-pilot manual data capture exercise it was observed that the data reported was not correct and hence led to miss-planning and schedule slippage. This should not happen during rest of the pilot manual data capture activity as it is going to be closely related to the Rollout dates and any change or slippage will result in delay in rollout.
Reporting correct no. of accounts is the responsibility of the post office and hence post office should do counting and segregation of undischarged manual accounts accurately.
