Adventure Racing List Reminders

Hello Adventure Racers!
This email is a just reminder, and many of you have seen this
information already.
* This is not the only adventure racing mailing list for the bay area!
We maintain the following regional lists:
- norc...@googlegroups.com
* covers the northern California area
* large audience, big events, topics of general interest
- sanfran...@googlegroups.com
* covers San Francisco area, including the headlands
* small local events and training or social opportunities
- south...@googlegroups.com
* covers the south bay area, for instance Redwood City and San Jose
* small local events and training or social opportunities
- east...@googlegroups.com
* covers the east bay area, for instance Oakland, Pleasanton, Fremont
* small local events and training or social opportunities
For example, reminders for a weekly mountain bike training at
Arastradero should go to the southbayar@ list. However, send
announce the first Arastradero ride of the season on both the
the southbayar@ and norcalar@ lists.
As another example, please post information about an adventure race
in Folsom on the norcalar list, since races are big events that draw
racers from all our regions.
* When responding to posts on this mailing list, choose "reply" or
"reply-all" carefully. When you choose "reply", your response will
only go to the person that sent the previous message. When you
choose reply-all, everyone on the list will see your message.
Always check who your message is addressed to *before* you hit
"send".
If someone posts "I am selling my Canondale mountain bike" then
reply-all with "What model?", but just reply to the original poster
with "I had a Canondale once, it was awesome."
