Happy New Year!!
I hope you all had a great Christmas break, which involved a lot of cake eating and some swimming!
The club introduced the 'Volunteer of the Year' award last year, to recognise a person who has gone above and beyond in helping out at events, dedicating their free time to the club and the Sandycove Open Water Swimming community.
Last year, the wonderful Ms Angela Harris won the award. Angela has dedicated a lot of her spare time in helping organise events, as well as organise the memberships for the club. She is ready to crew and help out swimmers where she can...this is just a few things that Angela has done over the past few years, need I remind you of the fabulous cakes she provides at the swims?? She's a hard act to follow, so please put your thinking (not swimming) caps on, and let us know who you think should win the award this year.
Once we receive your nominations, we'll send out a voting link for everyone to pick the deserving winner, and the winner will be announced at the Annual Spring Dinner.
Many thanks
