The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty seeks volunteers to help the agency assess the needs of low-income residents at Abraham Residence II, who have been devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Volunteers will go door-to-door, asking residents questions, to be used to address their concerns.

Wear appropriate clothing: waterproof work boots, long pants, headlamp (preferable) or flashlight. Equipment such as dust masks, gloves, and all tools will be provided at our hubs before crews are sent out.
