"Operation Surfin Bird" will be serving Thanksgiving to 500 families in the Rockaways. I will be there, to represent my family's love and extending it to these families, who are facing months of survival in a very harsh environment! If you are interested to join us, please fill in your details below (email copied from organizers). It's OK to email your details back to me.
And, would you please send me your stories of where you've volunteered, as a result of my list?

Thank you so much for your interest in helping on Operation Surfin Bird. Hope everyone had a great time last night at the party. This will be taking place on Thanksgiving November 22nd all day. There are a lot of things to be done before then as well as day of event. We have a big project going on and a lot of needs to be filled. We are putting together a master list of everyone with all your info so that we can assign you to a group, ie food prep, fundraising, food server, etc. Please let us know if you have any special skills that you might have......smiling is a special skill by the way. Let your friends know they can email this address for volunteer opportunities as well. I am also attaching a press kit. Please feel free to help get the word out in any way. You should blog, tweet, Facebook, email. More info and updates to come. As soon as we get you assigned to a group we will send you the team leaders of that groups info and you will coordinate with them directly. Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks everyone!
