Team - I have organized this relief group to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Red Cross, NY Cares are overwhelmed, and require orientations to help in those groups that are weeks out.
So, I decided to organize this group in hopes that, collectively, friends can gather and do good things with their time and money. People are cold, hungry and saddened by Sandy.
We are fortunate enough to come out with little damage - let's try to help in more ways than just giving money.
I hope you are with me on this.

NOTE: Minda Aguhob posts regular relief project updates by our group and other organizations (Occupy Sandy, Public Advocate, Chabad of Tribeca, UJA-Federation, Redeemer, Friends to Help Sandy Victims, etc.). These are posted in evening when possible, then updated around 8:30AM the following day.
