Title: Salesforce Technical Design Architect - F2F interview 

Location: Plano, TX (onsite role)

Duration: 6-12 months assignment  

Visa: No CPT/GC/USC 

Rate: $60-65/hr. on C2C

Client: Accenture/AT& T

MOI: In-person

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author, review, and maintain Salesforce Technical Design Documents (TDDs) including architecture diagrams, data models, integration designs, and security controls.
  • Translate business/functional requirements into solution blueprints, covering declarative and programmatic components (Flows, Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Data mappers, Integration Procedures, Integrations, Data).
  • Define non-functional requirements (performance, resiliency, observability, RTO/RPO, scalability) and enforce them through design.
  • Lead design walkthroughs with architects, developers, QA, security, and ops; drive design approvals and traceability.
  • Establish integration patterns (API-led, event-driven) and middleware orchestration with platforms like MuleSoft.
  • Govern data model & sharing architecture (CRUD/FLS, role hierarchy, OWD, sharing sets, Shield encryption).
  • Ensure compliance (SOX, PCI, PII, GDPR) and platform security standards (OAuth/JWT, Named Credentials, Shield).
  • Define and socialize coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and release strategies (Copado/Gearset + Git).
  • Support solution estimation, sizing, and dependency mapping; mitigate technical risks early.
  • Provide technical leadership to developers and Tier 2/3 support; participate in post-mortems and RCA for defects.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in Salesforce development/architecture; 3+ years leading technical design in enterprise programs.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Data mappers, Integration Procedures, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Platform Events, Queues, Batch/Async patterns.
  • Proven experience with API-led architecture and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), REST/SOAP, event streaming.
  • Strong grasp of governor limits, transaction control, bulkification, and performance optimization.

Certifications:

  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Administrator
  • Preferred: Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect
