Job Summary

  • End to end ownership mindset
  • Ability to own the rollout holistically from intake through access, role design, view strategy, and transition to steady state ownership while keeping DB2 modernization timelines intact

  • Robust platform and governance fluency
  • Deep understanding of Dremio access patterns, SailPoint roles, grant stacks, engine routing, Redshift and Glue dependencies, and marketplace constraints to avoid rework and compliance

  • Translation between technical and business needs
  • Converts stakeholder requirements and broader initiatives such as decommissioning and retirements dates into concrete actions

  • Executive ready communication
  • Provides concise status, risks, and decisions for senior leaders while shielding delivery teams from noise and churn
 
Optional Skillset

  • Robust cross team influence without authority
  • Drives alignment across engineering, analytics, and platform teams by facilitating decisions, resolving tension points, and escalating when needed while maintaining robust partnerships

  • Bias toward repeatable patterns
  • Executes interim and future state approaches that can be reused for additional teams and dashboards rather than one off solutions

  • Clear ownership and boundary definition
  • Proactively defines who owns what across Platform, DB2 Modernization, FO Analytics, FO Data Engineering, and PI DAE to eliminate ambiguity and prevent duplicated effort

  • Controlled and phased onboarding execution
  • Ability to sequence onboarding based on readiness, business urgency, and platform maturity rather than enabling broad access prematurely
