Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Montpelier, VT 05620

Duration: 12-month contract

Job Description

Role Summary

· Leads technical implementation of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Databricks integration, and automation strategy to enable DataOps maturity and governance traceability.

Core Responsibilities

· Architect and configure Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Analytics)

· Design branching and version control strategy

· Build CI/CD pipelines integrating Azure Databricks

· Implement Dev/Test/Prod promotion workflows

· Configure automation for governance tracking

· Integrate ADO with Power BI for KPI dashboards

· Implement permissions and security controls

· Automate reporting and traceability requirements

Minimum Qualifications

· 8+ years DevOps engineering experience

· 5+ years Azure DevOps administration and pipeline configuration

· Strong Azure cloud experience

· Experience implementing CI/CD in analytics/data environments

· Experience integrating Databricks with source control systems

· Experience with Git branching strategies and enterprise repo governance

· Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Desired Qualifications

· Experience in healthcare data environments

· Experience automating governance or compliance workflows

· Power BI integration experience

· Infrastructure-as-Code experience (ARM, Terraform)
