Workday Data Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid)

USC/GC/H4EAD/GC-EAD

Duration: 12+ Months with the possibility of extension

 

Required Skill:

• Hands-on experience with Workday Reporting
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM data and business objects
• Experience with calculated fields and report building
• Strong skills in SQL and Advanced Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Job description:

• Develop and maintain Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, and Custom Reports)
• Create and manage calculated fields and business objects in Workday
• Analyze HR data such as headcount, attrition, hiring trends, and compensation
• Extract and transform data from Workday for deeper analysis using Excel, SQL, or Python
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Build dashboards and present insights for leadership decision-making
• Support data integrations and data flows between Workday and other systems
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, APIs, Workday Studio)
• Experience with Python or data analysis tools
