Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the San Diego government information community. Are you new to the world of government documents, or just here in San Diego? In case Gary didn't get a chance to share it with you, there is a LibGuide < http://ucsd.libguides.com/SanDiegoDepositories > for the San Diego-area depositories that might help to acquaint you a little with us. We also have an informal group called SANDOCS that meets on an irregular basis. You can find the Google group page at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/sandocs.

I'm very happy to hear SDPL plans to retain its valuable print collection of gov docs. Do I understand correctly that you are dropping all print materials from your profile?

Dear San Diego government documents colleagues,

I am writing to introduce myself and also provide an update about San Diego Public Library's federal library depository. My name is Azalea and I am the librarian who has taken on Gary Klockenga's duties following his retirement last fall. We are in the process of transitioning and plan to only work with new online depository material. At the moment, we see no changes to our current tangible offerings and wish to better promote what we have. Please let me know if you have any questions.
