Friends,

Fyi.

I've never attended any of these regional gatherings, however I know some of the organizers. I imagine it will be a very spirited and satisfying and rich gathering...

To get a sense of what kinds of things are discussed at such events, feel free to look at the proceedings from previous world events:

Hi, Denise -- Thanks for your interest in attending the Open Space on Open Space (OSonOS in San Francisco - I assume that is what you mean - the WOSonOS (World Open Space on Open Space) is the one that Juan Luis and his amazing colleagues are hosting in Chile in October 2011. The OSonOS Ms. Heidi Nobantu Saul and I are co-hosting will be March 2-3-4 in San Francisco, California USA The cost is whatever is the most you can pay. When we send registration materials to folks who are interested you will see several ideas about payment including a pay-the-most-that-you-can option. You are all warmly invited! Like the WOSonOS and the European Open Space Learning Exchange which fabulous Geraldo is hosting (in concert with Jo, Jutta and colleagues in Italy next May) - an OSonOS is a knowledge- and experience-sharing conference where you can jump into several days *in* and *about* Open Space to explore any opportunities, issues, puzzles, challenges or discoveries you wish. It is not a training - rather a chance to go deeper with colleagues who know and use this amazing dialogue tool. In each of the events I mention in Europe, in Chile, in the US - there will be folks coming from other countries and also folks from right next door. Heidi and I will be sending out an 'official' invitation soon to OSonOS 2011 San Francisco - and we would love to see you there, Denise and dear colleagues. We welcome you to save the date in your calendars. For those of you who may be traveling from outside the region, we can also offer a list of accommodations to assist you in your planning. 'Stay tuned' as they say, for more, coming soon... Dear Raffi-.

It was good hearing from you, again.  I hope that all is going well in your life.   Thanks for keeping me in the loop of Os information. You know I truly enjoy the process and would like to see it used more around here. The San Francisco OsonOs Conference sounds like a good one.
If I am well enough after the 11/19/10 celebration, I might like to take in the program utilizing Open Space that you are coordinating for the NVC folks on 11/20/10.   I, at least, would like to learn more about it.  NVC is one communicative approach that really helps people to relate better with each other.
Have you heard of any more thoughts about utilizing DF in this community, or in bringing Rosa  Zubizarreta or Jim Rough down here to San Diego?   What about the World Cafe Process?  Since I experienced it in two programs last Fall with the Young Nonprofit Professional Network people at UCSD and, again, with them at the International Hosteling Conference at SDSU, I have heard little more about its usage in San Diego.
Has the Sandijuana Process Arts Network had any further meetings since your return from Russia?
    Please stay in touch.
Your friend, John
