Dear Rhea-
Steven Freeman sent this nice reply to your request for information about where and how to send a check to him or his organization, Election Integrity.  Thanks for all of your help on this 5th in a series of "Defending Democracy Forums."  Many people who met there are already working together. The Symposium Panel and Steven[s speech were great and, despite the electronic glitch, we were able to see the power point presentation of Steven Freeman and the trailer of the film, "Save KLSD, as well as to hear each of the presentations. Thanks to  Lisa Kove for the emergency use of her sound system, and to Abby Wolfe from stepping in t o get the audio visual equipment working.  We have much to be grateful for.
Your friend, John

John: What a nice surprise. Make the check out to Election Integrity. Send to:

Election Integrity

135 Hawthorne Ave.

Haddonfield, NJ 08033

(856) 429-3347

Thanks, again, for all you did to organize the event. The quality of your efforts were apparent by the event's success. Please pass along my thanks to the Peace and Democracy Action Group; the panelists, all of whom were clear, concise and compelling; the presenters; the attendees; and anyone else who helped with the event.

I'm not sure I told you, but I'll almost certainly be back in San Diego same time next year for the subsequent Employee Ownership conference. If you would like to plan another event, I'd be happy to work again together.

It was really a pleasure meeting you; I’m only sorry we didn't have a greater opportunity to socialize. I sincerely hope you are able to maintain your health and that your partner is recovering from surgery. If by any chance you come back east, please let me know. We'd be happy to host you on a visit.

If there's anything else I can do regarding Election Integrity or related issues for San Diego, please let me know.

Sincerely yours, Steve

Dear Steven-
I am not sure a of when you will be able to get this message because of the vacation you and Aurora may still be on.  However, on behalf of those involved in planning and carrying out the events in which you participated during your stay in the San Diego area, we thank you for your ideas, your presence, and your ability to get others involved in the subject matter of Election Integrity.
Because we did ask for a donation at the door of the 7/01/10 event, and because there was an amount left over after expenses, I have been asked for some information from you that would enable the Peace and Democracy Action Group of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego to send a modest honorarium to you.
They asked for your snail mail address and for how you would like the check made out, a) to Steven Freeman, or b) to Election Integrity?  Thanks very much for your assistance in this matter.
Yours for election integrity, John
