Whither The Grand Magic Shop? Part 3

shop around it's stated opening of 10am. Both days the shop was not
open, and from the appearance of the storefront it looks as though it
has not been open for some time.
My last posting on this subject commented on how I tried to call the
shop this past Friday (1 June 2007), using the phone number posted on
the website (858-610-3849). The call immediately went into a message,
and the mail box was full.
Today's installment of this sad saga is as follows:
As has been the case, the shop was not open when it should have been.
A recent call to the shop (12:20pm today) ellicited the following
message from the shop phone:
"At subscriber's request this phone does not accept incoming calls.
Message C-A-0-4-58"
To have a posted shop phone be set up to not accept calls is beyond
comprehension. The only possible reason for this is that JP has
decided to close the shop. That the shop still exists at all leads me
to suspect that he is attempting to find someone to buy the shop from
him, but this is only speculation on my part. Regardless, I am going
to take the position that The Grand Magic Shop has closed until I see
it open for business.
