At long last, I have finally been able to make a post that shows there
is actually a *reason* to be signed on to this group. Quite by chance
I have discovered an unusual book that tells the history of a feat of
magic in the form of a graphic novel.

The book is entitled _Levitation: Physics and Psychology in the
Service of Deception_. The author is Jim Ottaviani and the art is
done by Janine Johnston. The book chronicles the history of the
creation of the levitation illusion and it's progress through some of
the most famous magicians of all time, including Harry Kellar and
Howard Thurston.

This book was published only recently, and as such I could not find
any ordering information on the website. However, note the ISBN
because I suspect the book may soon end up on Amazon.com

An excerpt from the book can be found at this url:

Remember: you saw it *here* first.
