Whither The Grand Magic Shop?

The Grand Magic Shop seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.
This past Wednesday and Thursday they were not open (at least when I
was there). I called the shop on Wednesday, and I was immediately
moved into voice mail. I cannot say if they were open on Friday or
Saturday. However, I can say that their website is gone. I attempt
to access their website, and I get an error message that says their
server cannot be found. I called the shop today (a Sunday) and was
immediately moved into voice mail. This does not surprise me as the
shop is closed on Sunday. I left a message informing the owner that
his website is gone. As of this writing the website is still gone.

I certainly hope this does not mean the Grand Magic Shop is closing.
There have been rumours to this effect for about a year now, but they
have been only rumours. It would be sad if the last magic shop in San
Diego County were to close its doors. This would leave only The Trick
Shop in Temecula, which would be a bit of a drive. Granted, it is a
very nice shop, but it is a very nice shop that is nearly 60 miles
from where I live.
