Whither the Grand Magic Shop? Part 4

Huzzah! The shop phone is again functioning. As is usual for me on
Wednesday mornings (at least until the end of the month), I drove past
the shop. As has been the case since the middle of May the shop was
closed. On a lark I called the shop, and Lo and Behold the phone
rang! Not only did it ring, I was able to leave a message.

I asked him what was going on? I haven't seen his shop open for
nearly a month, and his phone was either not taking incoming calls or
the voice mail box was full. I even told him that I was telling
people he had closed the shop because of all this. I told him that I
was going to call again on Friday to see if he's open for Cruising
Grand; there is no way I'm doing that drive unless I know for a fact
he's there.
