I've recently sent 2 designs out for assembly using Altium 14.  Our vendor typically requires an ASCII PCB file which they load into their system to specify part locations and rotates.  (Why they don't like pick-n-place files, I don't know.)  Anyway, they found that importing the ASCII file, as they have always done, resulting in numerous parts with the wrong orientation.  They requested that I send them and ODB++ file which I did.  Same problem.  We've never had this problem with Altium 13 or previous but are seeing this now with AD14.

Anyone else seeing issues with ASCII PCB files or ODB++ files?  Is this a new bug?

Randy Clemmons says try the PCADAscii file... He has great success with that when he sends that out...
