Good Afternoon Sandbox Entrepreneur Program Partner,

 

Thank you for your engagement and support of the Sandbox Entrepreneur Program these past few months.  It’s been really exciting to kick-off the pitch contests and see the energy and diversity of ideas!  We’d like to invite you to one of two get-togethers toward the end of August to brief you on how the program has been going, highlight some coming attractions, and get your input on future programs.

 

FYI, in the first two Pitch Contests we had 73 Applicants who competed for a total of $5,000 in prize money!  More than 200 people, including investors, business professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs attended the contests.  In addition, the Sandbox has promoted three different workshops and panel discussions this summer, all of which were well attended and much enjoyed by the participating entrepreneurs.  The marketing and outreach efforts of your organization have been key in making these events so successful – thank you very much!

 

As we move into the fall, we’ve got a lot ahead of us, with three more pitch contests and plans for an “accelerator program” to help turn these ideas into businesses. We’ve added new staff and restructured our volunteer teams. We would love to get together to give you an update and get your input and thoughts on our future plans.

 

Note:  We also will be presenting a simple way for Sandbox to return the favor to you – we will be promoting partner events via the Sandbox’s frequent emails to its 2,500 followers.  Plus, we have an idea on how the Sandbox might help your organization promote entrepreneurship to your employees or audience – we’d love your feedback!

 

Please let us know (just reply to this email) if you or someone from your organization can attend one of the following get-togethers:
