NOTICE OF RACE
Rules: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the
2009-2013 edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing, as modified by
Appendix E, event sailing instructions, the Footy Class Rules or other
amendments to accommodate special conditions as deemed necessary by
the Race Director.
Eligibility: The regatta is open to all boats of the Footy Class.
Proposed Schedule:
Saturday Sept 25th – 1130-1230 Registration, measurement, practice
1230 Skippers Meeting
1245-1530 Racing
Location:
Racing will be held at our pond located at:
Chain of Lakes Park just north of Titusville on JJ road which
intersects with US 1 about 3 miles north of Titusville.
Entry:
Eligible boats may be entered by completing the Entry Form and
submitting it with the entry fee indicated on the entry form.
Entrants my also email the contact listed on the entry form to reserve
their position but must also concurrently mail their form and payment.
Sail number and frequency conflicts will be decided on the earlier
entry notification or receipt. The number of entries will not be
limited.
Rule changes: RRS rule changes, if any, may be posted on the website
and described at the skippers meeting(s)
Racing format: After approximately 16 boats are entered the fleet
may sail under the odd/even format when Ten (10) heats are a regatta.
Probable courses will be windward/leeward with offset marks.
Scoring: The regatta will be scored in accordance with the Low Point
Scoring System as set forth in Appendix A of the Racing Rules of
Sailing. One (1) throwout after 5 races or six (6) heats and two
throwouts after ten (10) races or ten (10) heats.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to at least the top three (3) finishers
in the regatta.
Measurement: Boats must fit the class box dimensions with sails and
rudders demonstrating full movement inside the box.

Association, or its members, from any claim for injury or other
damages to me or my family during this regatta’s events.
