Even when a game is as gleefully stupid as possible, developers are sometimes smart enough to leave room for the player to make it even more so. It's almost inspiring. Case in point: Ninja Blade. The game opens with a unit of ninjas, one of which is you, being dropped from a transport plane into a city that's been infected by Alpha Worms from Space. Or something. None of the ninjas have parachutes. On the way down - slashing enemy flying things who have the misfortune to be passing by - you proceed to land by crashing through the side of a skyscraper and slow the impact by doing a forward roll. That's as sane as it gets. By the end of the level, you've kicked an enormous demolition ball into the boss' equally enormous tendril-covered face.

Which is all mental enough. But then you finish the level, and realise it includes a costume editor. So now, when the high-octane straight-faced lunacy kicks off again, it's starring a fluorescent pink ninja. It only gets worse as you unlock other outfits. I went out the room when a friend was playing and he edited the ninja so he was rocking a scarlet leopard-skin with pink love-hearts all over his sleeves.

There are two sorts of ninjas. There's the sort who are big on hiding and the sort who really aren't. Ninja Blade is the latter. He thinks hiding is what animals are covered in. He's an expert in three weapons - the ancient ninja blades, mystical shuriken and the M60 machinegun. He is, to stress the point, mental. Lunacy is the primary constant. At Ninja Blade's best, it's hilarious, destructive and joyous. Even at its worst, it's often bad in a way that makes you wonder at the sanity of the developer for making whatever decision you're contemplating.

It is... well, let's go with "action game". Action-adventure would probably be the box to tick, but that doesn't quite grasp the entirety of its mood-swing game design. I'd say God of War, if I were to choose a single game, but while it's got all that increasing-combo quick-time event finishing move boss-fighting malarkey, its so fond of the wall-running that it pushes the platforming elements into something that even looks a little like Prince of Persia. And then it's got extended on-rails shooter sections where you're mowing down enemies while your truck or chopper trundles along. And the typically elaborate boss fights. And the quick-time events.

Ninja Blade likes its quick-time events. It's got more than I've seen since Fahrenheit, but they're integrated in a far less painful way. But still incredibly odd. Put it this way. It's like you're typing a paragraph in a review and you make some kind of mistkktsim fo dink emos ekam uoy dna wiever a ni hpargarap a ginpyt er'uoy ekil s'ti os. So it's like you're typing a paragraph in a review and you make some kind of mistake and then it rewinds and you try again with no further conseqeeqesnoc rehtruf on htiw niaga yrt uoy dna sdniwer ti neht dna ekatsim fo dink emos ekam uoy dna wiever a ni hpargarap a ginpyt er'uoy ekil s'ti os. So it's like you're typing a paragraph in a review and you make some kind of mistake and then it rewinds and lets you try again with no further consequences.

That's annoying and strange. As just demonstrated. But oddly, less annoying than the alternative of having to do the whole sequence again. While I suspect this is a total dead-end in game design, this compromise - the QTEs are set to be pretty damn easy on normal difficulty - does allow a developer to keep a tiny fraction interaction in events most games of the type would have as a cut-scene. The normal complaint in a game that runs an awesome video of your character taking down a baddy is, "Well, great - why can't I do it?" Ninja Blade's extended sequences of Dragons Lair-style action at least keep you slightly involved as the protagonist. Given the choice, I'll take this.

Looking for the latest Blade Ball codes? Blade Ball is a game of cat and mouse in Roblox, but the cat is a ball that flies through the air chasing you. And, as the name suggests, you have a blade that you can use to deflect the ball towards other players. The goal is to survive while accruing new abilities and upgrades, until you are eventually the last one standing. Of course, an important part of being a Blade Ball ninja is looking cool, which you can achieve by earning new items and spending Coins.

In this guide, you'll find a full list of current Blade Ball codes, so that you can unlock Coins and free Spins. If this is your first time playing, you can also learn how to redeem Blade Ball codes, so that you can get your hands on these extra goodies.

Certain codes may only be redeemable in private servers. This is because some Blade Ball codes are added without a reboot of the Blade Ball servers, meaning that these older servers do not immediately recognise the code.

This opens a short submenu, in which you can click "CODES". This will open a box in the center of your screen, into which you can type codes. Enter a code and hit the tick button to redeem a Blade Ball code.

That concludes our page on Blade Ball codes, but you can find plenty of codes for other Roblox experiences! Check out our guides on Blox Fruits, Ro-Ghoul, and Shindo Life, along with our Roblox promo codes list and our list of the best Roblox games?

All three cameras have both HDMI and SDI out. Will the Atomos ninja be triggered when the record button is pressed so that recording can take place on both the SXS cards and the Ninja? If so what product from Atomos will allow this feature?

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if the record button on my sony cameras will start and stop the samurai blade? Also will it record on both the XSX cards and the Samurai at the same time? What happens if your cards run out can you keep recording on the Samurai?

I've been a tint ninja for many years, and thought up until this point I'd found my counterpart in blades...
Happy to say I was wrong. These super thin carbon blades are Incredible, and paired with a holder that glides over film, it's the perfect combo for unparalleled precision! Well done Tint Studio for facilitating this combination, I encourage everyone to try it out, 100% game changer!

@hornikmartin those blenders really do not use any amount of grease etc. I suggest that you take it apart using these guides Nutri Ninja BL450 Then check the bearing on the motor and check for any visible damage. You can always post some images of what you find with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that

I had a similar failure, but I don't think it was caused by heat. I think it happened because I overfilled the cup, not leaving enough airspace, and the pressure from blending forced liquid past the seal.

Hi Jono, thanks for the info - this is exactly what has happened to mine. Could I just check though that I completely understand? I basically can't use the smoothie jugs any more because of the screeching sound. I replaced the blade a couple of months ago and it was ok for a bit, then started back up again. Both the food processor and blender jugs work fine, it's just the smoothie jugs. I had the issue you described - a lot of black grease coming out, bits of black plastic leftover and a burning smell. What can I do to be able to use these parts again? When you say blade assembly, do you mean the blade that screws into the smoothie jug? If so, replacing it only temporarily helped. Anything else that might work?

Thanks for this info! I recently made a shake and noticed smoke and a weird smell. Not too long after I drank the shake, I got very sick and threw it all up (sorry for the TMI). After reading this, I blended only water and it completely changed color, confirming that rust had leaked into my shake making me sick. I'm pretty sure I ruined the bearing seal over time by putting the blade in the dishwasher. I'll be ordering a new blade assembly ASAP! Thanks again for the heads up- I'm so glad I saw this before anyone else got sick from using our Ninja.

Same has happened here... although I definitely top rack dishwasher mine (ooooops). I'm sure the motor in the power unit is on the blink as well. They only have a 2yr warranty and mine was up 6 months ago. Also I've found the mixer bowl has sheared off the nuts that hold the little star shaped piece that turn the blade...now that isn't due to my washing up skills. You also can't get replacements from anywhere except ninja and they have been put of stock for about 6 months! I've concluded that ninja is a smoke screen for a poor product!

Here's what I found with my Nutra-Ninja. Melted plastic after unscrewing the wheel driving the blades. Note: It's a left-hand thread. Applied some silicone spray and this eliminated the vibration (for now anyway, will see how it goes).

Took the extractor blade assembly apart (again) to work on reducing the amount of noise coming from the blender. The model I'm working on is the "Nutra Ninja Nutri Bowl Duo with Auto-iQ Boost", models NN100, NN100A, NN101, NN102 - these model numbers use the same motor and extractor (blade) assembly.

To see where the most of the noise is coming from, the motor can be run without the extractor blade assembly installed. Just attach one of the cups and briefly run the motor to see how much noise is generated. Compare to noise level with extractor blade installed. For my blender, there seems to be 2X the amount of noise when run with the extractor blade vs just the motor running.

Note: there are two stainless steel bearings installed. Manufactured by Ningbo Zhenhai Hualei Bearing Co., Ltd - (HLGS). Part number is: S698RS. Bearing size: ID x OD x hole size = 8mm x 19mm diameter x 6mm thick. Bearing is a sealed unit.
