This SUNDAY, is the end of summer work party we've been looking forward to. After a couple months of solarizing (black tarp over weeds), it's time to clear the land and start with some fresh new vegetable beds.
Zach Seiter, local neighborhood resident and owner of nearby SA Cycles will be push dirt with his Bobcat (compact tractor) and make swift work and saving us hours and days of work. That being said, we need many garden members to chip in some time to clear everything out of his way. Sounds easy, and it is, but we still need as many people as possible. If you've ever wondered where the veggie beds are, now is the time to bring them back. The garden needs you.
PLUS, as dusk sets in, we'll pat ourselves on the back with drinks and foods. Details on that to follow.
