Ok, we're meeting Sunday evening at 6pm for another potluck, but with more emphasis on the workday this time. Last potluck a few of us hashed out a game plan for the physical future of the garden. We'll get into that later, but for now it entails pulling out the huge plants so that we can see what there is to work with. Our brush trimmer is coming out of the shop too, so we'll be making swift work of the jungle. After an hour or so, let's break for food and then get in another hour as the sun goes down.

Let's keep up the momentum guys. See you at the garden and bring some food, drinks, and friends.

And Justin says the flowers are edible so look for some on site farm-to-tabling.

Another great potluck, and an even more amazing workday. We pulled out and cut down an amazing amount of things today, all of which you can see piled up by the blue building. Thanks to Lexa and Jamie for the mower, especially, in addition to the Spanish dish they made. Tonight was almost an entirely different group that came to the Memorial Day Potluck, so we've got a huge number of people who are interested in the garden in some way. Keep spreading the word about what's happening, and we'll see everyone again NEXT WEEK on Sunday for some solarizing and tomato harvesting I hope.

Oh, and go grab some peaches off the tree.
