What is SANSA

SANSA (The South African Navy Submariners Association) is a non-profit
organization and represents qualified badge carrying submariners
irrespective of rank or nationality residing in South Africa.

The aim of the Association is to establish and maintain formal/informal
contact between active and retired submariners of all ranks and
nationalities.

SANSA is chaired by retired Warrant Officer 1 Chris Vermeulen and
consists of representatives of all ranks.

Full membership is open to active or retired South African submariners,
residents in Southern Africa or abroad and submariners of other
nationalities residing in Southern Africa, and any submariner, on
receipt of a submarine qualification badge.

There is no joining fee or annual subscription payable, but attendance
to functions, etc will carry a small charge, payable in advance, to
cover organising costs.
