Discussion on mielies-then-and-now

Ah, but if I sent you some "then" and "now" photos you would be green
with envy for age was too busy down south and never came up here to
visit me. I am more gorgeous now that I was then - and then I was
perfect, now I have improved somewhat.
It must have been the years riding motor cycles that kept me so well
preserved. But I get misty eyed when looking at the Control Centre -
such memories, such records, such fun and so much to remember.
They do say "Old soldiers / sailors do not die, they just fade away"
but we must not let them go quietly into the night - we must rage,
rage, rage against the passing of the light.
Why are there no messages more recent than 2006 ?????
Come on guys, we were specail, all of us. it was a page in South
African Naval history. Competiton, animosity, fellowship, brotherhood
- it was all part of being one family !!!
Where are they now ????? All of them ????
