The Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act would hold major fossil
fuel companies accountable for their share of climate damages to our
state and reinvest that money in community resilience, clean energy,
the essential workers responding to climate disasters, and much more.
Hoping
those who are available can show up to support the Make Polluters Pay
Town Hall on June 20th in San Mateo! The event will have education about
the campaign, a moderated panel of professionals and youth activists
discussing the proposed legislation and the impacts of climate change,
and opportunities to take action. The campaign is looking to influence
Asm Papan, Asm Berman, and Sen Becker with this event; good attendance
helps increase the impact.
