Dear Friends,

Here is an event to which some of you might like to go. The state representatives all represent San Mateo County.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act would hold major fossil fuel companies accountable for their share of climate damages to our state and reinvest that money in community resilience, clean energy, the essential workers responding to climate disasters, and much more.

Hoping those who are available can show up to support the Make Polluters Pay Town Hall on June 20th in San Mateo! The event will have education about the campaign, a moderated panel of professionals and youth activists discussing the proposed legislation and the impacts of climate change, and opportunities to take action. The campaign is looking to influence Asm Papan, Asm Berman, and Sen Becker with this event; good attendance helps increase the impact.
  • When: Saturday, June 20, 1:30 - 3:30 pm (doors open at 1:15 pm)
  • Where: San Mateo Union High School District Office (650 N Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94401)
You can sign up by visiting this link.
