WORKSHOP SERIES: READING SCRIPTURE FOR PEACE, LOVE, & INWARD LIGHT
Attend one or all!
Session 1: Scripture for Peace Mystics
After worship on April 24, Meg Given will facilitate a short Zoom workshop on mystical readings of scripture in the practice of peace. We’ll look at examples from the Quaker canon and then try our hands at the practice. You may bring your favorite “peace passage” from the Bible (or another scriptural text) or you may simply bring yourself. All are welcome. Please use the same Zoom link as for worship.
Session 2: Scripture for Love Mystics
The middle workshop will follow the same pattern. For this one, bring your favorite passage about love from the Bible (or another scriptural text) or simply bring yourself.
Session 3: Scripture for Mystics of the Inward Light
11:15 – noon Sunday, May 1
in person at 503 E. 5th Avenue, San Mateo CA 94401
