February 22nd: After meeting, we will examine the testimony on simplicity. The testimony on simplicity goes back to the earliest days of Quakers. Please join this session to consider how simplicity figures in our lives, society, and community.
We had to postpone for next weekend because our facilitator is under the weather and we decided more people could attend the following weekend.

March 14, 9-12 online (free) at Quaker Center: Disaster Preparedness for Friends Meetings, with Rick Narad (online). Some insurance companies have requested that religious groups, including Quakers, develop safety and emergency plans to maintain coverage. Join us for an online workshop with Rick, an emergency management specialist, where we'll review the basics of disaster preparedness and emergency planning, and learn how Quaker Meetings can develop their own plans.
Tuesdays in May (May 5, 12, 19 and 26) online 6:30 to 8 p.m. Organizing for Climate Resilience with Cherice Bock. As we begin to feel the impacts of climate change, it’s important to help shape our local communities to be more resilient. We will need the ability to respond and recover when there are climate emergencies, and the ability to work together to lower our climate impact. Faith communities could have an important role as hubs for community connection, and find ways to use their buildings and grounds in ways that help heal their local ecosystems.
