State of the Worship Group

Friends,

As you may know, the worship group is under the care of Palo Alto Friends Meeting which is writing the annual State of the Meeting Report to which we have been asked to submit a short contribution about the spiritual state of the worship group. Here is a first draft. I fear it is a bit long, so your help is appreciated. Please let me know what you think would best express the spiritual state of the worship group. When we are satisfied with the statement, I'll submit it to Palo Alto Meeting. 

The San Mateo Quaker Worship Group moved to a new location that has enhanced the quality of worship and increased attendance. The Group has a monthly discussion after Meeting on a topic related to Quakers as about half of the regular attenders are new to Friends. It is participating in the FWCC Quaker Connect program to strengthen its spiritual life and ties to the neighborhood. The Group has developed into a close community of people seeking the Spirit in their lives.
