Tuesdays in May (May 5, 12, 19 and 26) online 6:30 to 8 p.m. Organizing for Climate Resilience with Cherice Bock.  As we begin to feel the impacts of climate change, it’s important to help shape our local communities to be more resilient. We will need the ability to respond and recover when there are climate emergencies, and the ability to work together to lower our climate impact. Faith communities could have an important role as hubs for community connection, and find ways to use their buildings and grounds in ways that help heal their local ecosystems.

May 15-17  in-person with Eric Lindner. The Quaker MBA? Do the Quaker Testimonies have a home in the world of business? Yes! Eric will give reasons why “business ethics” isn’t an oxymoron, and the Quaker Testimonies are an advantage in commercial affairs

Tuesdays March 31- April 28, 11am -1 pm Hybrid. Primitive Quakerism Revived: Rediscovering Friends’ Roots as a Radically Transformative Prophetic Movement

Monday, April 6,  First Monday Lecture - Hybrid: Continuing Revelations of Gender, Media, and the Spirit with Layla James Cuthrell.


Saturday, April 4,  9-4 Regional gathering/joint retreat at Hidden Villa with Palo Alto, Live Oak, Central Coast, Monterey Peninsula, San Jose and San Mateo. Hidden Villa is an environmental education center founded in 1924, with historic connections to Friends, as well as the Sierra Club, American Youth Hostels and the United Farmworkers.  Friends will be spending the day exploring the theme “Open for Transformation – Being Quaker.”  A flyer with the schedule, youtube video, and how to register is here.  The registration deadline is Sunday, March 29 or until spaces fill up, so please don't hesitate.  If you have children, we particularly want to hear from you right away so we can arrange child care and a children's program.

April 10-12 , online, Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW) Spring Gathering 2026. We will reflect on the theme of "Spirit-Filled Activism" and how we ourselves are becoming instruments of truth. Jacob Johns – (Akimel O’odham / Hopi) is our keynote speaker.  


College Park Quarterly Meeting, the association of Quakers in northern California and northern Nevada will hold their 260th session at Ben Lomond Quaker Center Friday April 24 to Sunday the 26th. Registration open.
