The West Oakland Junior Seals are U8 and U10 teams who play in the
East Bay leagues. This program is funded by the Prescott-Joseph
center, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the families of
West Oakland. The Seals provide coaches and equipment for the
children. West Oakland is one of the most seriously neglected and
impoverished areas in the United States. Public programs for the
children of West Oakland are few. Prescott Joseph provides
educational, health, cultural, sports programs for these children.

The Seals Juniors program is their only soccer program. Right now
we need the following for boys and girls aged 6 to 10:

Shoes
Shinguards

If you have shoes and or shinguards that you no longer need, please
drop them off at 120 Magellan Ave, San Francisco, 94116 (located very
close to the Forest Hill train station).

If you donate donate cash for the program, please send it to West
Oakland Seals Juniors, 120 Magellan Ave, San Francisco, CA 94116. The
money will be used to buy uniforms, balls, other equipment, water,
energy bars, etc. Both Prescott Joseph and SFUSC, the parent
organization of the Seals Juniors, are 501 c3 charitable non-profits.
