I've been talking with Green Man about selling Paperbound on their site and also having them some promotion in exchange for exclusive content.

Does anyone know a way to have a single key that unlocks both the base game + additional content? Alternatively (second resort), is there a way to have DLC that isn't publicly visible but for which I can distribute keys?

Wouldn't these questions be better directed at your Steam POC? I'm pretty sure they can do bundles and promos. —Morgan

Morgan, I can attest to Dan wanted to see if other people have done this first.  Those Steam point-of-contacts can be busy! ;P

Hi Dan,

If you have the game and the DLC added to the same package you can do a key for both at once. And If you want to give out the keys to something that's not released it needs to be a gold package (release state override). We used one to give StarCrawlers keys out to our backers before our release. If you look under app admin > packages on your main app you can see if you have a gold prerelease package already set up. If you do - you could add additional apps to it, although that would mean you could no longer generate release-state override keys that don't include the DLC  you're looking to add (if that matters to you). If you want to add a new gold package I think you do actually have to get Valve to set it up.

Sorry if that was confusing. I think the whole point of this forum is having a place to ask for advice from other Indies, Steam people can sometimes be slow to respond and it can't hurt to ask people who've already been through the same stuff :)

Cheers!

I think I missed the november one accidentally and forgot to organize
the december one (the holidays and all), but lets try to make 2016 super
consistent all year. First thursday of the month, tabletop commons, 7pm.
If I ever forget, someone else organize it hey?

Anyway first thursday of january is the 7th, next week. Lets do it.

(p.s. if anyone has an idea for a new location for 2016, open to
suggestions)

Thursday sounds good to me. Might

Might want to split this into a new thread, looks like it got buried in Dan's.
