Happy 2010 New meeting location and time

This year we’ll be meeting at the Health Services Complex at 3851
Rosecrans Street, San Diego, CA 92110. It's a beautiful venue with
lots of clean bathrooms, security, and comfy chairs. I had to move
the meeting to the first Saturday, since the building is not open on
Sundays. It's in a new part of town for us, in Point Loma. The only
limitation is that we cannot bring food, same as in the library. I
hope it will be convenient for everybody. Directions follow at the
end of this email. It's a little tricky to find the first time, but
once you know where it is, it's a snap. Due to the New Year falling
on the first weekend of January, our meetings will commence on
February 6th.
The reservation is from 1:00 to 4:00, so we'll start at 1:30 pm and
conclude at 3:30 pm. I have 30 minutes on either side for setting and
tearing down the room. I will need help doing this each time, so if
you can spare the time to either set up or put back the room, I’d
appreciate it. We can play DVDs and the facility has an excellent
sound system. Seating is adequate for up to 35 people, so we won’t
have a problem accommodating either intimate gatherings or occasional
speakers in this space. This will be for our public meetings. Yolaine
and I are also planning on holding private, closed meetings just for
experiencers at another location, tentatively.
I'm so excited about our new location! For those of you near the I-5,
this should be an easy trip. We'll start on February 6th, 2010. This
is where the Chat Club meets.

From Hwy 8 or Hwy 5.
-- Take ROSECRANS exit.
-- Get in left lane and go about 3 blocks.
(Note: When you exit the freeway you're actually
heading toward ROSECRANS on CAMINO DEL RIO WEST!
Rosecrans runs parallel to Camino Del Rio West.)
-- Turn LEFT on KURTZ just before reaching SPORTS ARENA.
-- Get in left lane on Kurtz and go 2 VERY short blocks.
-- Turn LEFT on ROSECRANS and get in right lane.
-- Turn RIGHT into the COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES COMPLEX.
-- The driveway aims you at our meeting room building.
