REMINDER: SATBC meeting (DDD) 11/3 7:00

Hi all, just a friendly reminder that Tuesday, 11/3 at 7:00 is the
next book
club meeting. We'll be discussing Chapter 15. The book has 17
chapters, so
the end is in sight...

Anyone that is new to Skype, try to get on a few minutes early so we
can work out any technical problems beforehand. If you haven't done a
voice chat using your computer before, make sure you have sound and a
mic, and if you're planning on using speakers(on a laptop or
otherwise), keep a pair of headphones handy as a backup as sometimes
speakers cause echo with these programs (really, headphones would be
preferable). Headphones with a built-in mic would be ideal.

My Skype ID is ajepst, and I'll be creating/running the conference.
IM me on Skype once you're online to let me know that you want to be
part of the conference and I'll add you in.

I am confused? Or maybe there's been some confusion on the date of the next book club meeting... You guys know the next book club meeting is the week *following* Monospace, right?  We will have been back in San  Antonio 4 days before the next book club meeting date covering Chapter 15.. Just clarifying things... Anyway, I've been tryiing to do the reading this weekend so I don't have to worry about doing it all at once after I get back... 

If, taking into account that the the book club will NOT conflict with Monospace but the date of book club meeting is still problematic for you,  speeak up, maybe we can push it back a bit.

Anyway, for those of you who are going to Monospace, I'll see you there!

speaking of Monospace. If anyone is going and not going back till
friday night (which is adjustable) would you like to carpool?

I know Jasdeep is out because he's coming back thursday night.

I would, but it's the week before a big launch at work, and I promised I'd head back here without complaint if something blows up in a way that requires me that is more involved than I can handle with a bit of working remotely.  I sure *hope* that doesn't happen, but I'll need my own car just in case.
