
💡PROGRAM AT A GLANCE The five-day summer institute, led by numerous faculty in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering, offers a comprehensive program that includes hands-on activities, labs, discussion sessions, breakout sessions, and online coursework focused on energy activities in Texas. Participants will have the chance to engage with faculty and discuss technology, engineering, careers, and other topics in an informal setting. Each workshop covers a variety of energy themes, such as the global energy marketplace, petroleum engineering, the water-energy connection, energy portfolio mix, geothermal energy, carbon storage, and hydrogen storage. Upon completion of the Institute, teachers will receive 40 CPE hours. UT Austin is an approved TEA Provider. *Accommodations and meals are provided for all participants.
