The wait is over! We know you’ve been patiently waiting for the 2025 WeTeach_CS Summit schedule, and it's finally here! Join us at #WTCS2025 for enriching sessions on AI, cybersecurity, industry-based certifications, bringing CS to your classrooms, and so much more! Mark your calendars for June 9-10 in Austin to be enriched and encouraged in your journey in computer science education!

Mini-Grant Awards

Apply today for a WeTeach_CS Mini-Grant Award! Several grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded. These awards are for Texas educators and support instructional resources and materials used for teaching and learning K-12 computer science. Applicants will show well-defined activities specifically related to the project goals, how projects will serve groups traditionally underserved in CS education, clearly defined objectives, and outcomes, and more.

Are you a librarian? We’ve got you covered! Mini-Grant Awards for librarians are designated for those in Texas private, public or charter schools. Past Mini-Grant recipients are not eligible to receive the grant in consecutive years. All Mini-Grant applications close April 17.

Still Deciding?

Check out highlights from the 2024 WeTeach_CS Summit! At last year’s event, more than 400 CS teachers, advocates, administrators, professional development providers, university instructors, and policy makers gathered for the eighth annual Summit. The 2024 Summit was held in Fort Worth, marking the second straight year the Expanding Pathways in Computing (EPIC) team took the show on the road. Holding the event in different Texas cities gives educators who might not be able to travel the opportunity to attend the conference.

Thanks,

— Damian
