Good afternoon, K-12 STEM outreach group!
I hope you are enjoying your summer! I am reaching out to share some exciting outreach opportunities with you. We would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Hot Science – Cool Talks events this fall. Our schedule includes:
Each event will take place in Welch Hall on the UT Campus. We invite organizations to engage in Cool Activities before each talk, where attendees can explore hands-on activities, displays, and demos related to the topics and relevant STEM careers. Organizations set up starting at 5:00 p.m. and will lead activities from 5:30 to 6:40 p.m. The talk starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at around 8:15 p.m. We can provide tickets for event volunteers. We expect around 480 attendees, including K-12 students, teachers, families, university students, and adult learners. Many will arrive early to explore the Cool Activities. You can see a video about our events here.
If you are interested in tabling in Cool Activities or bringing a group to the talk, please contact me at Angelin...@jsg.utexas.edu.
