As the temperature chills and the season warms with family holidays, it’s time to look ahead to early 2026 for a galaxy of opportunities.

Each year in February, the Alamo STEM Ecosystem brings together teachers and pre-service teachers from across the San Antonio area for a free, one-day conference dedicated to STEM excellence in the classroom.

San Antonio is home to a wealth of STEM-focused organizations and industries offering cutting-edge tools, programs, and partnerships for educators. This conference connects teachers at every stage of their careers with innovative local resources, helping to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.

In 2026, the conference will take place at Northeast Lakeview Community College on Saturday, February 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The conference theme, “Moonbeam: Illuminating Pathways to STEM”, accentuates the Alamo Colleges “Moonshot” effort to include everyone in our community in a life full-filling education.   Registration and related information is available through the ASE web site at: https://www.alamostemecosystem.org/conference/

If you have questions about becoming a presenter or supporting this community effort as a sponsor, reach out to this year’s Conference Chair, Dr. Dania Rossi at dro...@alamo.edu
