Intensive Sri Sri Yoga Workshop (in English and German)
August 25-28, 2011 (Thursday-Sunday) - (+ free follow up session on Sept 3rd from 9am to 11am)
Time: 6:45pm to 9:15pm on Thursday and Friday and 9:30am to 12:00pm on Saturday and Sunday Course Fee: Eur. 130 (Regular); Eur. 100 (Students); Repeaters: Eur. 40
The
workshop is ideal for beginners and intermediate level yoga
practitioners. In addition to Hatha Yoga postures that help strengthen
muscles and tone the body, the workshop teaches several advanced
breathing techniques and meditations that help relax the mind and
enhance mental focus and clarity. Introductory knowledge and
experiential exercises relating to various paths of yoga and associated
systems are also given (including Ayurveda, the Chakra system etc.).
Most importantly, its a whole lot of fun! (For more details, please see

On
a physical level, Yogic exercises strengthen, lengthen and replenish
muscle tissues, all of which helps bone support and helps to shape the
whole body. Holding postures also burns fat and reduces cholesterol.
Yogic breathing, in turn, brings more oxygen to the heart and nourishes
the whole system. However, Yoga’s greatest benefits are felt in the
mind. We all know that peace of mind is more valuable than even the most
attractive figure (!) Even though the practice of Yoga will defiantly
improve one’s physical appearance, the radiance of a Yogi’s smile and
shining eyes are really the best rewards.
