Dear Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to our highlight during the India Year
in Germany – Spirit of India Concert – with Bansuri-Maestro Pandit
Hariprasad Chaurasia on 8th of June, 2012 in Gasteig, Carl-Orff-Saal.
Pandit Chaurasia, the world famous Bansuri maestro and artistic
director for classical Indian music at the Rotterdam Conservatorium
will take us through the musical and spiritual world of India. Critics
consider his album »Making Music« in which he performed together with
John McLaughlin, Jan Garbarek and Zakir Hussain to be »one of the most
inspiring East-West Fesion album of all times«.
The concert will take place on 8th June 2012 in Gasteig, Carl-Orff-
Saal with support from the Government of India, Indian Council of
Cultural Relations and will be recorded by the radio channel
Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR-Klassik).
