Hi friends! UCSB is currently recruiting for a Cloud Solution Architect (fully remote okay). This position is in ITS (https://www.it.ucsb.edu/information-technology-services) but will be collaborating closely with the Digital Library Development engineering team at the Library. The budgeted Salary Range is $127,700 to $164,300 /yr and the first consideration date is 02/07/2024. Please share widely!

The ITS Computing Infrastructure and Facilities group at UCSB  is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team.
The Cloud Solution Architect's primary areas of responsibility are:
- Providing technical expertise and leadership in cloud application and infrastructure design
- Developing cloud based solutions for the Library and other stakeholders through consultation and analysis
- Troubleshooting and optimizing cloud implementations
- Promoting cloud adoption and use of modern practices such as version control, IaC, and continuous integration
- Planning, architecting, and leading cloud migrations of legacy infrastructure and applications
