Unable to get docker working debian 12

Hi

After clone repository and add user to group docker I run docker compose up and the error

docker -v
Docker version 26.1.0, build 9714adc

Any idea?

Can you try docker compose build solr ? Looks like a bug in the docker compose file. I’ll try it get a fix in main this week.

Thanks for your answer with this command solr ok but the next error is initialize_app-1  | exec /bin/sh: exec format error
initialize_app-1 exited with code 1
service "initialize_app" didn't complete successfully: exit 1

I am executing docker compose build initialize_app

We try to avoid the antipattern of binding to specific ports on the host. We currently recommend dory instead https://github.com/samvera/hyku?tab=readme-ov-file#dory. There has been discussion about recommending Lando instead but that’s not in yet. If dory isn’t of interest, there is a docker-compose.override-nodory.yml. You can rename that to docker-compose.override.yml and it willl get included automatically.
